Reading will center around novel work, guided reading, literature circles and independent reading. Students will concentrate on activities involving comprehension, vocabulary building, and writing. Students will read independently, in pairs, in small literature circles, and in large group settings.
*A required amount of time will be spent reading weekly at home. A reading log will be provided.
