This year Lead Mine students are recognized when they show good character. For the month of September and the character trait of Responsibility, we had Nikki Melling and Sha Imran win the SPOT award for my class.
Next, for the month of October and the character trait of Respect, Kellen Hartley and Haley Robbins won the SPOT award.
Then in November showing the character trait of Courage was Macie Shoun who won the SPOT award for our class!
For the month of December, displaying the character trait of Kindness our winners are Stephen Lucht and Krystal Thillet-Torres.
Self-discipline is the character trait for the month of January. The recipients of the SPOT Award for this trait are Michael Scrudato and Connor Mulligan.
Integrity is the character trait for the month of February. The recipients of the SPOT Award for this trait are Ebony Grayson, Nastasia Swinton, and Nicole Gravatt.

The recipients of the SPOT Award for Perseverance in March are Lindsay Kness, Natalie Green, and Ketaisha Williams. Congratulations!!

Sha Imran won The Pick-Up-A-Book-And-Read Hurricanes Reading Program for reading the most minutes for our class and school. He read minutes and then won 6 Hurricanes tickets for his family and him to attend the game on April 2! Way to go, Sha!!

The SPOT award winners for the month of April are Natalie Green, Maggie Pollard, and Alana Neal. They won the award for using Good Judgment. Way to go, girls!

For the month of May, the SPOT award winners are Teron Abrams and Sruti Valluru for Kindness. Matt Papanestor and Erik Nicolaysen won the SPOT award for Respect.
